Yesterday I finally got my chance. Eric Faulkner came to Hastings for a cozy gig tucked into a corner of a pedestrianised street in the <a href=\"http:\/\/prettygoodbritain.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/americaground.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">America Ground<\/a>. Seeing as the inspiration for the <a href=\"https:\/\/flashbak.com\/the-rise-and-fall-of-les-mckeown-and-the-bay-city-rollers-1952\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">band<\/a>\u2019s name came from the States, you might say he was going back to his roots.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/prettygoodbritain.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/faulkner1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7896\" src=\"http:\/\/prettygoodbritain.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/faulkner1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"604\" srcset=\"https:\/\/prettygoodbritain.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/faulkner1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/prettygoodbritain.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/faulkner1-300x227.jpg 300w, https:\/\/prettygoodbritain.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/faulkner1-768x580.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He joked about walkthrough traffic<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.notanothercyclingforum.net\/acf\/pics\/hastingsgig\/walkthrough.jpg\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" \/><\/p>\n<p>then got down to business, a short but sweet set which included a traditional folk ballad about weavers with a few new verses thrown in.
